Founded in 1998 by Marcus Padley, MARCUS TODAY Pty Ltd is an independently owned company based in Melbourne, Victoria. We produce the MARCUS TODAY daily stock market newsletter.

The business was born in 1998 and has been producing the Marcus Today Newsletter for thousands of subscribers each day, a Newsletter designed to do two things for you:

• Make subscribers money - The Marcus Today Mission Statement.
• Inform, Explain, Educate and Entertain - The Marcus Today website not only delivers the newsletter but contains resources including unique educational articles and a 300 stock database.

THE TEAM

MARCUS PADLEY MAppFin, LLB, MSAA

The founder of the Marcus Today stockmarket newsletter is Marcus Padley. Marcus is a stockbroker and has been advising institutional clients and a private client base for over 28 years. Born a Yorkshireman he emigrated to Melbourne in 1994 as the souvenir of his Australian wife Emma's visit to London. He is 49 with three daughters and (finally) a son.

Marcus is a current Black Belt in Shukokai Karate.

Marcus was advising institutional fund managers for 12 years in London, 4 years in Australia and has since been advising private investors for the last 12 years. Now as a proper authority holder at a licensed securities dealer (broker) he advises private clients. Qualifications:

• Master of Applied Finance from Macquarie University.
• Bachelor of Law – Southampton University.
• Master member of the Stockbrokers Association of Australia – Master Members of the SAA have to demonstrate they are a fit and proper person by continuously complying with the SAA Good Fame and Character criteria. Have met the SAA knowledge and skills requirements as required. Commit to meet the SAA Continuing Professional Development requirements. Have employment experience of at least 7 years in the stockbroking industry and have been either an ASX Affiliate, or an ASX Responsible Executive.
• ASX Derivatives Advisor Level 1.
• Prize winner in Applied Portfolio Management – Macquarie University.
• ASX Affiliate.

Sam has been a contributor to the Marcus Today Stock Market newsletter and a stockbroker since leaving university. He has completed a Bachelor of Legal Studies (major in international business law) and Economics (major in financial markets) and was awarded the Dean’s Commendation award in recognition of academic excellence in Economics. He holds a RG146 accreditation and has appeared on ABC TV’s Lateline Business, Channel Nine News and ABC’s 774 National Radio. He is also a regular expert tipster in the Sunday Herald Sun.

MEAGAN GREEN

Meagan is a contributor the the Marcus Today newsletter and holds an MBA and a Bachelor of Science with a major in Finance and since 2005 has worked as a business investment analyst in the US and Australia. Meagan holds a RG146 accreditation. She is also an accomplished Basketball player having been awarded a Colonial Athletic Association Scholarship to Virginia Commonwealth University in the USA and twice named to the conference All-Academic Team.
