FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What is the cost of subscribing & what do I get? - Check our Subscription Rates. Sign up for a FREE TRIAL and find out.

Does a Free Trial give me access to everything in the site? - Yes...for a week.

Is the Newsletter the only product? - Only paid product yes, but we also have a FREE END OF DAY EMAIL and a free weekly email – you can sign up at the bottom of this page.

Can I suspend my subscription if I go on holidays? - No. With thousands of subscribers this is unfortunately unworkable.

I've signed up for free trial but not receiving any emails? - Once you have signed up for a free trial you will be sent a 'Welcome Email' with your login details and password. If you do not receive this email the email address registered with us may be incorrect. To check what email address we have registered for you please email info@marcustoday.com.au. Another reason why you're not receiving emails may be that your Internet Service Provider (ISP) may be blocking and filtering it as SPAM. Ways to overcome this are:

  • Save info@marcustoday.com.au in your 'Address Book', 'White List' or 'Safe Senders' email list.
  • Check if they are not in your 'Junk Mail' folder.
  • Contact your ISP or workplace IT department & notify them that communications from info@marcustoday.com.au are not SPAM.

My login is not working - There are a few things you can try - most login problems will be solved by one of these:

  • When typing your password in, check caps lock & number lock. Caps lock needs to be off, so the letters are in lower case. Number Lock needs to be on for the number pad on the right hand side of your keyboard to work.
  • If you have ever typed your password in with a mistake in it, the autofill might be putting the mistake in. Delete anything that appears automatically & type your details in manually.
  • If you have had the ‘remember me' box ticked, untick it. Again, it might be repeating an earlier mistake.
  • If you are copying your login from the welcome email, take care not to copy the space at the front of the username or password. How to double check: after you have copied your username and password across, put your cursor at the front of each entry (in the website) & use the backspace key to delete any spaces that might have come across by accident.

If you are still having problems, email us.

I am entering the password you gave me but the response is...'the password you entered does not match the password stored for this user name'. What am I doing wrong? - When you put your username in, if some little stars appear in the password box, that means your computer is entering the password automatically for you. I’m pretty sure that’s what’s happening. Things you can try:

  • After you put your username in, don’t do anything in the password box – just click go or login.
  • If that doesn’t work, try putting your username in & deleting anything that pops up automatically in your password box before you type in the password. Then click go or login.

I have forgotten my password - Click on the 'Forgot my password' under the login section and enter you email address you have registered with us. A 'Password Reminder' email will be directly sent to you.

MY WEB BROWSER DOESN’T REMEMBER MY PASSWORD!!! (this one does annoy people)

How to get your web browser to remember your log in and password: Click “Remember Me” when you log in.

If the next time you come to log in your web browser doesn’t pre-populate these fields for you then try this:

If your Web Browser is Explorer (Blue “E” in the corner of the window) then open it up and go:

  • Tools
  • Internet Options
  • Content tab
  • AutoComplete
  • Check all boxes

Then go to the Security tab and go:

  • Custom Level
  • Scroll all the way to the bottom to User Authentication
  • Check Automatic logon with current username and password (or it might be Automatic login on in Intranet zone – try one then the other).

If your web browser is Firefox/Mozilla (orange and blue circle in top left corner of the browser) then open the browser and go:

  • Tools
  • Options
  • Security Tab
  • Click “Remember passwords for sites”

(You can also check your “Saved passwords” in this window)
(You can also check “Exceptions” and Remove any Marcus Today websites in Exceptions)
